Pending applications
Why alzheimers.ephemerisx.com does not list applications under FDA review, and what the Pending section shows instead.
The FDA does not publish which applications it is reviewing. So the Alzheimer's record cannot list pending applications, and it does not claim there are none. An application appears only once the FDA itself makes it public.
What the Pending section shows#
The section (header link Pending, or the Applications pending tile) shows:
- The sources the record watches: the public FDA pages where a new application or meeting would first appear. A source that could not be reached on the last check is marked “· not reached on the last check”.
- The most recent committee meeting notice, with its date and title. If no meeting has been announced since the last decision in the record, it says so.
- Last checked: when the sources were last read.
On desktop, the command center shows a short Pending applications card. Select What the record watches → to open the full section.
What else the record cannot show#
The Method page lists what is out of reach by design: applications under review, events the FDA has not recorded, reviews the FDA has not posted, documents the FDA has taken down, and the limits of scanned pages.
