Status and legend reference
Every status, colour, mark and label on the Ephemeris map and what it means.
Use this page as a key to everything drawn on the Ephemeris.
Item status#
Every item has one of four states. They appear in the status key under the search box, on list rows and in map labels.

An opened list row explains a queued item in more detail, for example “Documents are in; the drug profile is drafted and waits for validation before the package is built.”
Marks on the map#
| Mark | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Solid dot | An entity in the built graph. Size grows with the number of mentions. |
| Solid line | A relation in the built graph. |
| Translucent dot | Projected: what a queued document is expected to add, not yet built. |
| Dashed ring around a cluster | The item is queued. |
| Small hollow ring | A document waiting in the queue. |
| Small grey dot | A listed-only drug. |
| Dark ring on a dot | Selected, or matching your search. |
| Moving spark along a line | Decorative only. |

Every legend ends with “Solid: in the graph · translucent: projected replay”. On phones the legend is hidden to save space; the list's swatches use the same colours.
Stats strip#

| In the graph | How many entities and relations the built graph holds. |
| Built from | How many documents and pages have been read into the graph. |
| In the system | How many documents and pages EphemerisX holds for this map, read or not. |
| Last checked | When the sources were last checked for new or changed documents. |
The gap between Built from and In the system is the queue.
Profile values#
Opened rows show a Profile: validated (ready to build), draft (waiting for validation), none (not started), n/a, or, for SEC companies, drawn from its letters.
